Rev Up Your Daily Bible Reading

Are you good at math?
What about Bible math?
Here's a provable Bible math formula:

Read 4 Chapters From the Bible Daily + 365 Days = 1 Year and You Have Read the Entire Bible

  • Read from your Bible at least 4 chapters a day

  • Read 2 chapters from the Old & 2 chapters from the New Testament (in one year, you will have completed reading the entire Bible...Congratulations!)

  • However, since there are more books in the Old Testament, you will finish the New Testament first.

  • Make notes as you read....personal notes....how the passage relates to you

  • It's ok to underline and mark up your Bible...it will help you to remember better

  • Start a notebook and write down prayer requests, and dates

  • Then, write down prayers answered, and dates answered

  • Ask God questions about what you don't understand

  • And, don't forget to listen for God's answers to your questions

  • Find the church God wants you connected to

  • Develop friendships with other believers

  • Allow other believers to be a source of  encouragement

  • A good suggested place to start reading would be Isaiah from the Old Testament and the Book of John from the New Testament

  • Be on the alert for pride....it's always lurking to lure you away from God

  • Join a good, reliable Bible study; I have found the Navigators to have excellent Bible study plans to help you grow in your walk with Christ  (www.Navigators.org)

  • My faith and my belief is that you will grow deeply in your love for the one who loves you beyond measure

  • Happy journey with Jesus
