1 John 1:8: If we claim to be without sin, we deceive ourselves and the truth is not in us.
Romans 3:23: ...for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God.
Isaiah 53:6: We all, like sheep, have gone astray, each of us has turned to our own way; and the Lord has laid on him the iniquity of us all.”
Now there was a man of the Pharisees named Nicodemus, a ruler of the Jews. This man came to Jesus by night and said to him, “Rabbi, we know that you are a teacher come from God, for no one can do these signs that you do unless God is with him.” Jesus answered him, “Truly, truly, I say to you, unless one is born again he cannot see the kingdom of God.” Nicodemus said to him, “How can a man be born when he is old? Can he enter a second time into his mother's womb and be born?” Jesus answered, “Truly, truly, I say to you, unless one is born of water and the Spirit, he cannot enter the kingdom of God. ...and here is what we Sinners Pray....
In John 13:10, Jesus explains, "A person who has had a bath (meaning, cleansed by His sacrifice on the Cross) needs only to wash his feet; his whole body is clean." Being born again cleanses us spiritually, but we need to be cleansed daily from our proclivity to keep sinning. His is a magnificent plan just for you! You come to Jesus. Say the Sinner's Prayer. Once you ask Him into your life, you are cleansed and made new, like a newborn. Walking through this life, even though born again, we continue to sin.....unwittingly and even sometimes with malice. The solution is to go to your Savior who loves you and repent. You cannot be born again and again and again, as if crawling back into your mother's womb. You are loved with an amazing, perfect love!
