Daniel Lazarus
What do you think?
Were Daniel and Lazarus real people?

Did Daniel really sit down with hungry lions, without being mauled to death?
Did Lazarus really die and then walk out of his tomb, still in his death clothing, because Jesus told him to?
Did God only do those things a long time ago?

Or, does he still do these things, and more, today?

What say you?

Here are a few modern-day miracles.

What's YOUR Prayer-Miracle Story?
My Answered Prayer-Miracle Story
Had a business (Resumes/Legal Transcription) with a few really good reliable customers . But not enough of them. I probably was too generous with my billing....any sad money-story tugged at my heart. My utility bill had reached $1,000 and I was so late, to the point that they were going to have to disconnect my services. In fact the very date they were going to be turned off, I was praying and praying. And one of my favorite customers came by. I finished his legal transcription work and billed him and he was starting to write his check (remember those!?). I thought maybe the utility company might give me a little more grace with the money he would pay me, usually about $200. But, the customer hesitated, started to write again, and hesitated again. Finally, he said, "I am going to write this check for $1,000, if that's ok. Now, you know the Lord told him to do that, whether he knew it or not. But, even I could hardly believe it. But, I was able to pay my utility bill that day. Finished the day just praising the Lord!

I grew up kind of poor middle class and never seemed to get out of it. So I moved in with my mom when she had Alzheimer's and took care of her for the most part. Family helped of course. When she passed, my brothers (with their wives in agreement) turned the deed to the house over to me. I will never ever forget that. But most of all, I thank God!!!

I was in my thirties, single and desperately wanted a husband and children. Dating always seemed to end in, "There is someone else." I begged God for the phone number and address of my future husband.
There was that day I decided that I had to have my answer. Then, on my knees, I let my Bible fall open to the exact place God pre-ordained....Hosea, chapter 2, verse 16:
"And it shall be at that day, saith the Lord, that thou shalt call me Ishi; and shalt call me no more Baali."

A little back story leading to my personal miracle. Some time prior to all this angst about a husband, I had visited Israel. I loved that place. Upon return from Israel, I found a local Israeli and started Hebrew Lessons.
So, I literally knew what that word "Ishi" meant. Most people, I suppose, would have to refer to the footnotes for a translation. But not me. I knew that word!
According to my Hebrew tutor, it meant "My Husband". She said that "ish" meant "man", but "ishi" was the possessive form of the word and meant my husband.

I love Him, my "Ishi".
